EIP is a public IP address resource that can be purchased and owned independently. You can apply for an EIP by following the steps below.
Directions
- Log in to the CVM console and choose EIP in the left sidebar to enter the EIP interface.
- Select Region at the top of the EIP page and click Apply.
- In the pop-up Apply for EIP dialog box, perform the following operations:
| Parameter | Description |
|---|---|
| Selecting Region | Since EIP has a region attribute, select the region to which the EIP belongs. |
| Carrier | Specify the ISP attribute of the EIP. |
| Billing Mode | Bill by traffic. |
| Bandwidth Cap | Set the bandwidth limit as needed and allocate bandwidth resources reasonably. |
| Quantity | Select the number of applications as needed and ensure that the total number of EIPs does not exceed the total product quota. For details, see Quota Limit. |
- Click Confirm to complete the EIP application.
- In the list, you can view the applied EIP, which is currently unbound.
Note:
We recommend that you bind unbound EIP to cloud resources in a timely to save IP resources.
