CVM is an automatically scalable computing service. With the strengths of elastic computing, flexible configuration, stability and reliability, simple management, secure network, and comprehensive protection, it realizes cost control and business protection for pain points such as sudden traffic bursts.
Creating a CVM
- Choose Cloud Computing & Networking > CVM.
- Click Create.
- On the CVM page, choose Customize Configuration > 1: Select Region and Instance Type, select the VPC and its corresponding subnet of the CVM under the Network field, and then click Next: Select Image.
- Select Public Image, select the CentOS-related image, and then click Next: Select Storage and Bandwidth.
- Modify the default storage and bandwidth settings as needed and click Next: Configure Security and Host.
- Select it if a security group that allows all ports already exists. If no available security group exists, you can select Create Security Group.
- Configure the login password of the host and click Next: Confirm Configuration Information.
- On the Confirm Configuration Information page, view all the configured information. If everything is correct, you can click Activate to complete the creation.
