Directions

Description

  • The password rules set in this step only apply to sub-users who log in using passwords.
  • After the login password expires, the sub-user will be unable to log in through other means and must reset the login password.
  1. Select User Management > User Settings to enter the security settings page.
  2. Click the edit button of the Password Rules Settings module to modify password rules, password length, password validity period, and password repetition limit.
    • Password Rules: Must contain at least two of the following: uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers, and special characters.
    • Minimum Password Length: Default minimum length is 10 characters, maximum length can be set to 32 characters.
    • Password Validity Period: 0 days means no restriction, maximum can be set to 365 days.
    • Repeat Limit: Limits the repetition of new passwords with historical passwords, defaulting to non-repetition with the previous one. (Maximum of 24 non-repeated passwords)
    • Password Blocklist: Users are prohibited from setting passwords that contain strings set in the blacklist, with a maximum of 10 strings allowed.
  3. Click the OK button to complete the password complexity settings. Passwords need to be reset when the validity period is reached, calculated from the last password modification.
