1. What Users Is Cloud Organization Suitable for?
Cloud Organization is suitable for group headquarters to manage multiple cloud platform root accounts within the enterprises.
2. Can I Change the Admin Account?
No. You cannot change the admin account.
3. How Do I Add a Cloud Platform Account to My Organization?
You can do this by inviting members or adding cloud platform accounts to your organization. For specific operations, see Adding an Organization Member.
4. Can a Cloud Platform Account Be a Member of Multiple Organizations?
No. A cloud platform root account can only be a member of one organization at a time.
5. How Do I Create a Department?
Cloud Organization supports up to five levels of departments. For specific operations, see Creating a Department.
- Log in to Cloud Organization as an administrator.
- In the left sidebar, select Department Management.
- Navigate to the location where you want to create a unit in the hierarchy. You can directly create it under the root or in other units.
- Click Add Department, and then provide a name for the department. This name should be unique in your organization.
Note
You can rename the department later.
6. How Can I Move a Member's Cloud Platform Account in/out of a Department?

Perform the following steps to add a member account to a department:
- In the Cloud Organization console, select the Department Management tab.
- Select a cloud platform account, and then select Move in Members or Remove Member.
- In the dialog box, select the department to which you want to move the cloud platform account.
7. Can a Cloud Platform Account Be a Member of Multiple Departments?
No. A cloud platform account can only be a member of one department.
8. How Many Levels of Departments Can an Organization Have?
You can nest up to five levels of departments. Your department hierarchy can have up to five levels of department nodes, including the root account and cloud platform accounts created in the lowest department.
