Deleting Snapshot Groups

Last Updated At: 2025-10-21 09:10:00

Scenarios

When a snapshot is no longer needed, you can delete it to release virtual resources.

Notes

  1. When a snapshot group is deleted, only the data unique to the snapshots it contains is deleted, and the cloud disks from which the snapshots were created will not be affected.
  2. Deleting a snapshot created earlier for a cloud disk does not affect your continued use of a snapshot created later.
  3. When a snapshot group is deleted, all snapshot data in the snapshot group are deleted, and deleted data is irrecoverable. As the deleted snapshot is irrecoverable, please operate with caution.

Operation Steps

  2. In the left sidebar, choose Snapshot > Snapshot List.
  3. On the Snapshot Group tab, click Delete in the row of the snapshot group to be deleted. If your snapshot has been associated with a related image, you can choose to delete the custom image together or keep it.
