Instance Pricing
Converge Cloud Load Balancer (CLB), an "instance" refers to an individual CLB service unit that you create and configure to distribute traffic across backend servers (such as CVMs). It's the actual deployed load balancer that handles incoming requests based on your selected settings (e.g., region, protocol, forwarding rules).
A Converge CLB instance continues to incur charges for the instance fee even when it is idle—that is, when there are no incoming access requests and no real servers are associated with it.
Converge CLB offers two types of instances:
- CLB supports TCP, UDP, HTTP, and HTTPS protocols, allowing you to flexibly forward traffic based on domain names and URL paths.
- Classic CLB offers easy configuration but lacks support for HTTP/HTTPS over private networks.

Billing cycle (Pay-As-You-Go)
- The instance fee is charged daily but calculated based on usage.
- Billing begins when the CLB instance is successfully deployed and stops once the termination process is triggered.
- The minimum billing unit is one hour.
Key Considerations:
When a pay-as-you-go CLB instance is created, an hourly fee—equivalent to 1/24 of the daily rate—is automatically deducted from your account balance. Please ensure your account has enough funds to cover this cost.
