Payment Overdue
Payment Overdue Timeline: Important Dates and Notices
- To avoid continued charges, make sure to delete any unused pay-as-you-go resources.
- Please note that due to ongoing usage updates, there may be minor differences between your actual usage and displayed account balance.
Balance Alert
- The system checks your current balance and how much you've used in the past 24 hours to estimate when your funds might run out. If it looks like your balance will be used up within 5 days, an alert is sent to the account owner and any collaborators who subscribed to alerts, through email, SMS, or the Message Center.
Overdue Payment Alert
- Pay-as-you-go resources are charged by the hour. If your account balance goes negative (as shown in Point 1 in the figure), an alert is sent to the Converge Cloud account owner and any collaborators who’ve subscribed to notifications via email, SMS, or the Message Center.
Overdue Policies
- Once your account balance goes negative, your pay-as-you-go load balancers will keep running for 2 more hours, and billing will continue during that time. After 2 hours (see Point 2 in the figure), the load balancers will be suspended, and billing will stop.
- If a CLB is isolated and suspended, it will be permanently deleted after seven days and can’t be recovered.
Key Considerations:
- A CLB instance remains bound to its associated CVM unless manually unbound. Isolation of the CVM does not affect this binding.
