Scenarios
When a snapshot is no longer needed, you can delete it to release virtual resources.
Notes
- When a snapshot is deleted, only the data specific to that snapshot is deleted, and the cloud disk from which the snapshot was created will not be affected.
- Each snapshot of data provided can independently restore the cloud disk to its data state at that moment. Deleting a snapshot created earlier for a cloud disk does not affect your continued use of a snapshot created later.
- When a snapshot is deleted, all data in the snapshot will be deleted, and deleted data is irrecoverable. As the deleted snapshot is irrecoverable, act with caution.
