This document lists the billing and pricing instructions for connections, DC tunnels, and DC gateways.
Billing Description
The cost of DC consists of three parts: Connection, DC tunnel, and DC gateway.
Connection
The Connection refers to the channel between the user's local IDC and the DC point. User costs include Connection charges and other parties' charges.
- Connection Charges
- The fee for using an exclusive port includes: initial installation fee and exclusive port resource occupation fee.
- For connection to shared partner port resources, you do not need to pay the initial installation fee and exclusive port resource occupation fee.
- Other Parties' Charges
- Fiber Optic Installation Fee: The cost of laying optical cables between the user's local IDC and the DC point, which is purchased from an operator and paid by the user.
- In-House Wire (IHW) Rental Fee: The DC point room is generally a neutral IDC room. There may be fiber-to-building or in-house wire rental fees. You need to consult the operator or line provider for detailed information.
DC tunnel
The DC tunnel refers to the private network section between the DC point and the DC gateway on the cloud.
Direct Connect Gateway
A DC gateway is a gateway object on your cloud platform. Traffic passing through the DC gateway is charged.
- Inbound Traffic: Traffic that flows from the user's local data center to the cloud platform data center through the DC channel.
- Outbound Traffic: traffic that flows from the cloud platform data center to the user's local data center through the DC channel.
