Overview
When a snapshot is no longer needed, you can delete it to release virtual resources.
Note
- When a snapshot is deleted, only the data exclusive to that snapshot will be deleted without any impact on the file system where it was created.
- All snapshots have been incremented to retain data, and deleting one of the snapshots will not affect other inventory snapshots.
- When a snapshot is deleted, all data in the snapshot will be deleted, and deleted data is irrecoverable. As the deleted snapshot is irrecoverable, act with caution.
Directions
- Log in to the CFS console.
- On the snapshot list page, click Delete on the right side of the target snapshot.
- In the pop-up dialog box, click OK.
