Mounting File Systems Through the Console List Page

It is recommended to use the console to mount file systems. This method is easier and faster.

  1. Log in to the CFS console > File System.
  2. In the Action column of the CFS list, click Mount.
  3. Switch the number of items displayed per page, and select the CVMs to perform the mounting operation in batches. After confirming that everything is correct, click Next. You can scroll through the list to view the configuration status of the Restart automatic mount feature. For details, see Automatically Mounting File Systems.
  • File protocol client installation status and description:

Mounting File Systems Through the CFS Client Assistant

The main difference between operations through the CFS client assistant and operations through the console is that the CFS client assistant supports the installation of NFS clients in batches, and mount parameters need to specify a specific file system.
The following are the operation steps. You can execute them as needed.

  1. Log in to the CFS console > File System.
  2. Click CFS Client Assistant above the CFS list.
  3. Select CVM, and click Next.
  4. Go to Install/Update Client. After successful installation, click Next.
  5. Select the file system to be mounted, specify mount parameters, and click Next. You can configure the automatic mounting of file systems upon server restart as needed. For details, see Automatically Mounting File Systems.
  6. After successful mounting, click Complete.
