Releasing Highly Available Virtual IP

If HAVIP is no longer needed, you can release it directly in the console according to this document.

Prerequisites

Only HAVIPs that are not bound to cloud servers can be released.

Note:

For HAVIPs that are already bound to cloud servers, if you need to release them, please first unbind the HAVIP in the third-party HA software configuration file on the cloud server, and then you can release it in the console.

Directions

  1. Log in to the VPC console.
  2. In the left navigation pane, choose IP And Network Card > HAVIP, and find the HAVIP that needs to be released in the list.
  3. Click Release in the action bar.
  4. In the confirmation dialog box that appears, click Confirm to complete the release of the HAVIP.
