The VPC offers you powerful network management capabilities. You can customize the IP range, divide subnets on demand just like in a traditional network, and customize the deployment of your cloud-based business through the flexible configuration of the route table and route rules.
VPC also offers a visual network topology to help you better plan your network.
Scalability
Using VPCs, you can flexibly deploy according to business needs by creating different subnets within one or multiple VPCs to deploy different parts of the business. You can also expand the network architecture as needed by connecting VPCs with your local data center and other VPCs.
Rich Access
VPC provides different access modes to meet the needs for cloud communications:
- Accessing the Internet: You can interact with the Internet using normal public IP, EIP, NAT gateway, CLB, etc.
- Accessing other VPCs: You can use peering connections to enable inter-VPC communication; cross-VPC unilateral service access is achieved through a private link.
- Accessing the local data center: You can use VPN connections and DC access to access your local data center.
Security and Reliability
VPC utilizes tunnel technology to build virtual networks on top of physical ones, using the GRE protocol to ensure complete isolation between VPCs, offering users independent, isolated, and secure cloud networks.
For CVMs within the VPC, we also provide different levels of network access control, such as security groups and Network ACLs.
Simple and easy to use
You can quickly create and manage VPC through methods such as the console and API. The productized network functions and rich troubleshooting features can significantly reduce your operation and maintenance costs.
