Installing the CVM Monitoring Component

If users need to use Cloud Monitor to view the CVM metric data and trigger alarms, they need to correctly install the monitoring component on the CVM, as CVM metric data collection depends on the monitoring component.
Note: To ensure the normal reporting of monitoring data, the user's CVM needs to allow tcp dport 80.

Linux Installation Guide

After logging in to the Linux instance, users can execute the following commands for installation:

wget http://update2.agent.convergecloud.com/update/linux_stargate_installer
chmod +x linux_stargate_installer
./linux_stargate_installer

If the installation is successful, the following content will be displayed:

Windows Installation Guide

1. After logging in to the Windows instance, users can access http://update2.agent.tencentyun.com/update/windows-stargate-installer.exe via the private network to download the installation package windows-stargate-installer.exe.
2. Run this program to perform automated installation.
