Cloud Monitor provides users with cloud resource monitoring services.- Cloud Monitor provides the features of collecting basic monitoring metrics automatically, accurately, and almost instantaneously, as well as storing monitoring metric data.
- The cloud product monitoring and dashboard modules support creating diverse charts to display the metric data of cloud products and configuring alarms. In addition, the metric data can be pulled via APIs for further application and analysis.
- The monitoring metrics of most cloud services can be collected automatically for monitoring data display. Users do not need to perform any monitoring-related configuration.
- For certain cloud services, such as CVM and Cloud Bare Metal (CBM), users need to install and run the corresponding monitoring agent to collect monitoring data. Users can choose to automatically install the agent for these cloud Services when purchasing resources.
- Providing Alarm Services
Cloud Monitor provides users with prompt and personalized alarm services.- Based on existing monitoring metric data, users can apply default alarm settings or customize the settings for cloud resources and custom metrics.
- Users can configure different alarm policies, such as event alarms, failure alarms, and threshold alarms, for resources in different Ops scenarios.
- Users can configure alarm frequency and alarm logics to distinguish alarms at different levels.
- Users can receive alarm notifications promptly through different channels by configuring mobile numbers, email addresses, WeCom accounts, and callback URLs.
- Displaying Data with Multi-Dimensional Charts
Cloud Monitor allows users to view existing monitoring data in diversified custom charts.- Users can conveniently view the monitoring data of various cloud resources in the monitoring pop-up window or on the monitoring details page in the console of each cloud product. By default, the latest data is displayed in a curved line graph.
- Users can view the overall monitoring status of cloud services on the Monitoring Overview page and comprehensively monitor the cloud service status from three aspects: health status, timeline, and exception.
- In Dashboard, users can subscribe to key metrics, customize the display forms and calculation rules of different metrics, and sort and compare metric data in lists and charts to assist in troubleshooting and analyzing issues.
- Users can view the monitoring data and corresponding alarm information on all cloud services under their account in Cloud Product Monitoring.
- Grouping Instances
Users can group instances of the same cloud product across regions for unified management. When they create a large number of instances, they can create instance groups as needed. By managing instance groups, they can manage instances more conveniently and set alarm policies to improve Ops efficiency.
