View Security Group Rules

Overview

After adding a security group rule, you can view the details of the security group rule in the console.

Prerequisites

A security group has been created and security group rules have been added to it.
For information on how to create a security group and add security group rules, see Create a Security Group and Add Security Group Rules.

Directions

  1. Log in to the VPC Console.
  2. In the left sidebar, select Security > Security Groups to enter the Security Group Management page.
  3. On the Security Group Management page, select Region and find the security group whose rules need to be viewed.
  4. Click the security group ID/name of the rule to be viewed to enter the Security Group Rules page.
  5. On the Security Group Rules page, click the Inbound Rule or Outbound Rule tab to view the inbound/outbound security group rules.
  6. Click the search column on the right to quickly search by different latitudes.
