Region
Introduction
Region refers to the geographical area of a physical data center. Different regions of the cloud platform are completely isolated to ensure maximum stability and fault tolerance between different regions. To reduce access latency and improve download speed, it is recommended to choose the region closest to your customers.

Availability Zone
Introduction
Availability Zone refers to a physical data center of the cloud platform where the power and network are independent in the same region. The goal is to ensure that failures within the availability zones are isolated from each other (except for major disasters or power failures) preventing fault propagation and ensuring that users' businesses continue to provide online services. By launching instances in independent availability zones, users can protect applications from the impact of single-location failures.
