This document describes how to purchase CLB.

  1. Log in to the cloud platform console, choose Cloud Products > Cloud Computing & Networking > Cloud Load Balancer to go to the CLB console. Click LB Instance List in the left sidebar.
  2. On the LB Instance List page, click Create in the upper left corner.
  3. On the CLB Service Purchase page, select the following configurations and click Confirm.
Parameter Description
Region Select the region to which the CLB instance belongs.
Instance Type Only Application CLB is supported.
Network Type Configure a public or private network CLB service based on your business scenarios. The system will assign a public or private network service address based on your choice.
- Public network: Public network CLB charges instance fees and public network fees.
- Private network: Private network CLB is free.
Elastic IP (EIP) - If you do not select an EIP address, the cloud platform will assign a public network CLB for you, and the public network IP address cannot be changed.
- If you select an EIP address, the cloud platform will assign an EIP address and a private network CLB for you. The EIP address and private network CLB can be bound/unbound as needed.
IP Version The IPv4 version can be selected.
Network Select a VPC.
AZ Type AZ types are divided into the single-AZ type and the multi-AZ type.
A multi-AZ type consists of a primary AZ and a secondary AZ. The primary AZ handles traffic, while the secondary AZ does not handle traffic unless the primary AZ becomes unavailable. To improve the high availability of the business, it is recommended to select the multi-AZ type.
Carrier Local Carriers are supported.
Instance Specifications Both private and public network IPv4 CLB instances support selecting instance specifications. Instances are classified into shared instances and dedicated instances.
Dedicated instances reside on the physical cluster specified by you.
Cluster Tag When the instance specification of private and public network IPv4 CLB is a dedicated cluster, you can select a cluster tag.
Cluster tags are classified into layer-4 cluster tags and layer-7 cluster tags.
Cloud Dedicated Cluster (CDC) Supported only in CDC scenarios.
The final instance is created on the CDC.
Public IP Address If you have specific requirements for the IP address of the instance, you can manually specify it. Currently supported CLB instances include:
- Private and public network IPv4 instances
Public Network Bandwidth Only the billing-by-traffic-usage mode is supported.
Bandwidth Limit The bandwidth limit is 2 Gbps.
Tag Select a tag key and tag value, or create a tag. For details, see Creating a Tag.
Instance Name You can name it after creation or immediately.
Purchase Quantity Select the number of instances to be purchased.
