Use Limits
General Restrictions
Converge Cloud CLB usage is subject to certain limitations, which may vary depending on the type of CLB instance. For detailed information on the available instance types and their respective limits, refer to the Instance Types documentation.
| Instance Type | Resource | Default Restriction |
|---|---|---|
| General restrictions for all instances | Maximum number of public CLB instances allowed per region | 100 general IP-based instances 3 static IP-based instances under one individual account or 15 under one organizational account. |
| General restrictions for all instances | Limit on private network CLB instances per account within one region | 100 |
| General restrictions for all instances | Number of listeners allowed per instance | 50 |
| General restrictions for all instances | Available ports for listener configuration within an instance | An integer between 1 and 65535 |
| CLB(formerly "application CLB") | Number of domain and URL forwarding rules configurable for an HTTP/HTTPS listener on a CLB instance | 50 |
| CLB(formerly "application CLB") | Limit on servers that can be associated with a forwarding rule in a CLB instance | 100 |
| CLB(formerly "application CLB") | Number of backend ports that can be linked to a frontend port in a CLB instance | Multiple ports |
| Classic CLB | Number of backend servers supported by a listener in a Classic CLB instance | 100 |
| Classic CLB | Number of backend ports that can correspond to a frontend port in a Classic CLB instance | 1 port |
A CLB instance does not automatically unbind from a CVM instance. Similarly, if a pay-as-you-go CVM instance enters an isolated state (due to over 2 hours of overdue payments), it will remain bound to the CLB instance and will not be unbound automatically.
Peak Bandwidth
The concept of peak bandwidth varies according to the network billing mode, with details provided below:
| Billing Mode | Difference | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Bill-by-traffic | Peak bandwidth represents the maximum achievable bandwidth but does not guarantee a committed bandwidth. During periods of network contention, the actual bandwidth may be restricted below the peak value. | The combined peak bandwidth of all active pay-by-traffic instances in a single region must not exceed 5 Gbps. If your application requires guaranteed or higher bandwidth, consider using the pay-by-bandwidth billing mode. |
| Bandwidth packages | Peak bandwidth represents the maximum achievable bandwidth but does not guarantee a committed bandwidth. During periods of network contention, the actual bandwidth may be restricted below the peak value. | The total peak bandwidth of all active instances billed under a shared bandwidth package must not exceed 50 Gbps within a single region. For bandwidth requirements beyond this limit, please contact your sales representative for further assistance. |
