Prerequisites
- The corresponding reverse private DNS has been created. For details, refer to Creating Reverse Resolution for Private Domains.
- You have configured reverse private DNS.
Directions
- Log in to the VPCDNS console and enter the VPCDNS List management page.
- In the "VPC Domain Resolution List", click the private domain name for which you need to create a PTR record.
- Enter the Resolution Record Management Page, click Add Record, and in the pop-up "Add DNS Record" window, fill in the relevant record value information.

- Record Type: Only PTR is supported.
- Host Record: The host record, combined with the created domain (excluding
in-addr.arpa), is in the fixed IPv4 format. You can only enter integers from 0 to 255 for each IP range. - Record Value: Fill in the private domain corresponding to the private IP address.
- Click Save to complete the addition.
