A Record
Points the domain to an IPv4 address.
AAAA Record
Points the domain to an IPv6 address.
MX Record
Points the domain to an email server address.
TXT Record
The text length is less than 255, and it is commonly used for SPF Record (anti-spam).
CNAME Record
Points the domain to another domain.
PTR Record
Points an IP address to a domain.
Host
It generally refers to the prefix of the domain. For example, if your registered domain is example.com, then www in www.example.com is the prefix of your domain example.com.
Record Value
When setting DNS records, the specific address to which the domain points has different formats for different record types.
MX Priority
Priority can be set for different email servers, with values ranging from 1–50. The smaller the value, the higher the priority.
Weight
When a domain is set with multiple records pointing to different addresses, you can distribute the proportion of each line's resolution through weights. The proportion resolved to a certain record: the weight of that record / the sum of the weights of all records for that subdomain.
