Overview
You can enable the object lock feature through the console to ensure that the object cannot be overwritten or deleted within a set period.
Directions
- Log in to the COS console.
- In the left sidebar, click Bucket List, and go to the bucket list page.
- Click the bucket for which you want to set an object lock to enter the file list page.
- In the left sidebar, select Security Management > Object Locking and click Modify to change the current status to Enabled.
- Enter the lock duration in the configuration window and click Save.
