This document describes the operation methods and related precautions of the system disk scale-out.
Limitation Factor
- The disk configuration can be adjusted only when the system disk is cloud storage.
- To prevent data loss, the system disk only supports scale-out but not support scale-in.
Operation Steps
- Log in to the CVM Console.
- In the cloud host list, select the instance for which you want to adjust the system disk and click More > CVM Configuration > Adjust Disk.
- In the pop-up Adjust Disk window, select a disk and click Next.
- Scale out according to actual needs and click Next.
- Read the page prompts carefully, then click Start adjusting.
- On the CVM list page, the status column will display Expansion Instance Disk. When this field disappears, the disk adjustment is complete.
