Account Limits for Purchasing CVM Instances
- You need to sign up for a cloud platform account.
- Users are required to perform identity verification.
Limits on Image
- Public images: No use limits.
- Custom images: Each region supports up to 50 custom images.
- Shared images: Each custom image can be shared with up to 500 Converge Cloud users, and the accounts of these users should be in the same region.
- For more details, see Image Type Limits.
Limits on Elastic IP
For details, please see Use Limits of EIP.
Limits on Network Interface
For details, see Use Limits of ENIs.
Limits on Bandwidth
- Inbound bandwidth limit (upstream bandwidth):
- When the fixed bandwidth purchased by the user is greater than 10 Mbps, Converge Cloud will allocate a public network inbound bandwidth equal to the purchased bandwidth.
- When the fixed bandwidth purchased by the user is less than 10 Mbps, Converge Cloud will allocate 10 Mbps public network inbound bandwidth.
Limits on Disk
For details, see Cloud Block Storage Use Limits.
Limits on Security Group
- Security groups are divided by region. A Cloud Virtual Machine (CVM) can be bind only to security groups in the same region.
- The security group are applicable to any Cloud Virtual Machine instance in the network environment.
- Each user can set up to 50 security groups under each project in each region.
- A maximum of 100 inbound or outbound access policies can be set for each security group.
- One Cloud Virtual Machine can join multiple security groups, and one security group can be associated with multiple Cloud Virtual Machines at the same time.
- Security groups bound to CVM instances on a basic network cannot filter data packets from (or to) relational databases (MySQL and MariaDB) and elastic cache (redis and Memcached) on Converge Cloud. If you need to filter traffic on such instances, you can use iptables.
- Related quota limits are as follows:
| Feature Description | Quantities |
|---|---|
| Security Group | 50/region |
| Access Policy | 100/inbound, 100/outbound |
Cloud GPU Service
Note: As a special instance of CVM, the purchase, operation and maintenance methods of Cloud GPU Service are the same as those of CVM.
- Data backup
Cloud GPU Service provides powerful computing capabilities. To avoid data loss in extreme situations, be sure to back up your data regularly to ensure data security. To ensure data security and reliability, you can also purchase and mount an elastic cloud storage separately. - External devices
Cloud GPU Service does not support direct loading of external hardware devices yet, such as hardware dongles, USB flash drives, external hard drives, bank U keys. - Configuration upgrade
Cloud GPU Service does not support configuration upgrades or degrades yet. - Not support hot migration or configuration changes
