Overview
Currently, the CVM supports the sensitive operation protection feature. Before you perform sensitive operations, you need to enter a credential that can prove your identity. You can only perform relevant operations after passing the identity verification.
The sensitive operation protection of the CVM can effectively ensure the security of account resources. Currently, it supports shutdown, restart, password reset, and termination.
Enabling Operation Protection
You can enable operation protection by Cloud Access Management console. For instructions, refer to the Help Documents > Tcenter > Security Settings chapter.
Operational Protection Verification
When you have enabled operation protection, the system will first perform operation protection verification when performing sensitive operations.
