Using Self-Service Instance Test

Overview

If you encounter problems while operating a CVM instance or need to have a comprehensive understanding of the overall running of the instance, you can use self-service instance test to discover and solve the problem. This document describes how to create self-service instance test and view the historical test report of the instance.

Directions

Creating Self-service Instance Test

  1. Log in to the CVM Console.
  2. In the left sidebar, click CVM > Cloud Host List to enter the CVM Host List page.
  3. In the operation column on the right side of the CVM host that needs to be tested, click More > Ops maintenance and Test > Instance Self-Service Test to enter the test page.
  4. You can also switch the instance in the Instance Test dropdown list and click Start detection to enter the testing state and display the testing progress.
    The testing process may take some time.
  5. After the test is completed, the system will prompt whether there are any risks as well as optimization items and test details. Click I Got It to complete the test.
    You can also click View Historical Report to view the historical test report of the instance.
