Directions
- Log in to the NAT Gateway console.
- Select a region and VPC, then click Create.
- On the NAT Gateway purchase page, complete the parameters and confirm the purchase.
Parameters
| Parameter | Description |
|---|---|
| Gateway name | Enter a NAT Gateway name, up to 60 characters. |
| Region | Select the region where the NAT Gateway will be deployed. |
| VPC | Select the VPC where the NAT Gateway will belong. |
| Gateway type | Choose from: • Small (up to 1,000,000 connections) • Medium (up to 3,000,000 connections) • Large (up to 10,000,000 connections) |
| Outbound bandwidth cap | Maximum outbound bandwidth for the NAT Gateway. Valid values: 10, 20, 50, 100, 200, 500, 1000, 2000, 5000 Mbps. |
| EIP configuration | Associate the NAT Gateway with existing EIPs or create new EIPs: • Using existing EIPs: Ensure idle EIPs are available in the same region. • Creating new EIPs: General BGP IPs are automatically created. Configure quantity and bandwidth cap as needed. |
Note:
- Internet traffic is limited by both the NAT Gateway and EIP bandwidth caps. The smaller cap applies.
