Configuring Lifecycle

Applicable Scenario

With lifecycle configuration, certain predefined actions can be automatically performed when a rule is applied to objects. For example:

  • Storage type transition: Transition objects to the STANDARD_IA or ARCHIVE storage type after a specified period of time.
  • Deletion upon expiration: Set the expiration time of the object so that the object will be automatically deleted after expiration.
